Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement security and emergency services programs at our gated retirement community. The role includes patrols, gatehouse relief, and responding to emergencies and routine calls for service.

Qualifications include being 18+, a valid driver’s license, CPR for Healthcare Providers, and EMR certification with a 30-day window to obtain. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; higher level acceptable, but EMR certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols; provide relief staffing for the gatehouse; respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care using basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.
