Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, New Jersey, is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement our security and emergency services programs and engage with the community. This per diem role offers a pathway to growth within a respected senior living network.

The compensation ranges from $19.00 to $23.00 per hour, with an additional $1.00/hour for EMT certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; EMR certification within 30 days if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and provide relief staffing for the gatehouse.
• Respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide care using basic interventions.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online system.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
