Job summary

Unifi Security in Rapid City seeks security personnel to oversee access control for employees, visitors, contractors and vendors at client facilities. You will ensure proper authorization and secure entry into buildings, with a focus on safety and incident prevention.

Paid training provided; eligible for flight privileges after 30 days; weekly pay and benefits including 401k and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Credentials required per airport or state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access control and screening for employees, visitors, contractors and vendors.
• Inspect identifications, vehicle decals and screen individuals before entry.
• Patrol premises, respond to inquiries and document concerns.
• Prepare clear reports on security incidents and daily activities.
• Report incidents and notify management during emergencies.
• Respond to building alarms and manage communications via radios.

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of provisioning and access control management for all individuals, including employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors-accessing client facilities. Ensures proper authorization and secure entry into buildings.

Job Duties

• Access Control & Screening, which includes Inspection of identifications, vehicle decals, and screen visitors, couriers, and contractors before entry.


• Conduct random security inspections to employee body scans, bag checks, and ETD (Explosive Trace Detection) screenings.


• Patrol premises, respond to security-related inquiries, and document concerns from tenants, employees, and the public.


• Prepare clear and concise reports on security incidents and daily activities.


• Report security incidents and document criminal or suspicious activities, notifying management of incidents and emergencies.


• Response to building emergency alarms, including fire, elevator entrapments, and intercom alerts.


• Management and communication via radios and other security-related equipment.


• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards


• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.


• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Security License Requirements

• Licensed Security Guard Card. (preferred)

Physical requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.


• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
