Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years security experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Highly motivated, quick learning, quality conscious and have the initiative to take ownership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Very alert and able to act calmly and decisively under stressful conditions.
• Able to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
• Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license.
• Excellent attendance and "on time" record required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access control systems for all employees and guests, verify credentials, issue temporary I.D. badges.
• Monitor all fire and security alarm systems for the Euclid facility. Mentor only monitors Mentor.
• Coordinate with local police and fire for critical incident emergency response.
• Act as the company's 911 (2222) (6222) emergency response center and dispatch ETMs for emergency response on critical incidents.
• Coordinate with local authorities and respond to incidents promptly and professionally.
• Patrol property, enforce parking guidelines, monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings.
• Issue gate passes and properly scale raw material and scrap; inspect vehicles entering restricted areas.
• Monitor railroad traffic entering and exiting the property and ensure safety of personnel and assets.
• Interpret and enforce company and departmental policies and procedures; represent the company to guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security and support the RISE Strategy.
