Job summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Security Access Control Officer to safeguard facilities, guests, and assets across multiple sites in the Mentor area. You will validate credentials, manage temporary IDs, monitor alarm systems, and coordinate with local authorities during incidents.

The role requires flexibility for rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends, with expectation of strong communication and reliable attendance. Ohio driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of security experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and accountability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee access control for employees and guests; validate credentials and issue temporary IDs.
  • Monitor fire and security alarm systems for the Mentor site.
  • Maintain radio communications and run the internal 911 center via designated numbers.
  • Dispatch incident command during critical incidents and coordinate with police and fire services.
  • Patrol grounds, enforce parking protocols, monitor surveillance, and conduct building inspections.
  • Provide truck gate coverage: verify shipping/receiving docs, allocate docks, issue gate passes, and manage materials.
  • Track railroad movements entering and leaving property.
  • Represent Lincoln Electric professionally to all guests and adhere to company policies.
  • Support the company’s RIse Strategy with additional tasks as needed.
