Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, NJ, seeks a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement our security and emergency programs and provide outreach within the community. The role involves patrols, gatehouse coverage, and rapid response to medical and security incidents.

Requirements include being at least 18, a valid driver’s license, CPR for Healthcare Providers, and EMR certification (higher licenses acceptable).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior experience in Security and/or Emergency Medical Services is preferred.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification; higher level certification/licensure is acceptable; new hires must obtain EMR within 30 days.
• State regulations may be applicable.

Responsabilités

• Perform regular patrols of the property, provide relief staffing for the gatehouse, and respond to emergency and routine calls for service.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide efficient care utilizing all basic interventions.
• Follow up on reports of missing items, theft, vandalism, and other potential criminal activity.
• Utilize local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
• Complete thorough and detailed incident reports using our online report system.
