Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living in New Providence, New Jersey, is seeking a Security and Emergency Services Officer II (EMR/EMT) to implement our security and emergency programs and provide outreach within the community.

You will patrol the property, respond to calls, enforce traffic and parking rules, handle medical emergencies using basic interventions, and complete incident reports in our online system. EMT/EMR certifications preferred, 18+ years old, valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• EMR certification required or higher level acceptable.
• EMT certification preferred or required within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular patrols of the property and respond to emergency and routine calls.
• Enforce all traffic and parking regulations on the premises.
• Respond to calls for service from dispatch and security and to medical emergencies.
• Complete thorough incident reports using the online report system.
• Coordinate with local police, fire, and EMS during emergencies.
