Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to join its Security and Electronic Systems unit in the Chantilly area. The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, testing, and support of electronic security systems across federal, local, and commercial clients.

You will work with a team to ensure safety, quality, and timely completion of projects. Requirements include a HS diploma or equivalent, electronics training or apprenticeship, 2+ years of relevant experience, strong

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent electronics training.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship.
• At least 3 years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly (required).
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, performs testing for proper operation, and provides customer support.
• Communicates with project teams and customers, follows safety plans, and adheres to policies.
