M.C. Dean is hiring a Security Assembly Technician 2 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, assemble, and maintain electronic security systems for diverse customers.

The role covers wiring, cable harnesses, and components across intrusions, access control, video, and IT systems with safety at the forefront. Experience with electrical assembly, documentation, and asset tagging is required; candidates must follow safety plans and work at varied heights as needed.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Prepares equipment, devices, and components for shipping.
• Reads, interprets, and follows fabrication documents, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions to assemble equipment.
• Assists with verifying, testing, and documenting results of wiring terminations, cabling, and basic components.
• Maintains progress status by documenting actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Documents and applies asset tags to equipment including model, serial, and asset information.
• Updates progress on assigned tasks and daily time charging in MC Deans systems.
• Follows the project Safety plan (JHA, AHA, PFW).
• Assembles equipment racks, enclosures, back panels, and components by examining connections for correct fit.
• Routes, secures, and terminates basic copper cables and assemblies.
• Assembles basic copper cable harnesses.
• Cuts and drills various materials such as trough, strut, lumber, and aluminum.
• Kits equipment, devices, and materials for assembly and shipping.
