Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Security Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role involves installing and maintaining electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local, and commercial customers globally. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in electronics installation, with at least 3 years in electronic security.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for a U.S. government security clearance (Top Secret).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Experience with multiple IDS, ACS, CCTV systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electronic security systems on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and inventory.
• Lead on-site software commissioning and testing.
• Document RFIs, project progress, and daily reports.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technicians to manage labor hours.
