Job summary
M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 2 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit in Tysons, VA.
The role covers installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, CCTV, and IT systems for federal, local and commercial clients. Candidates must have 4+ years in electronics installation/maintenance, with 3 years in electronic security; active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance is
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED or military electronics training (720 classroom hours) or equivalent.
- Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship.
- 3+ years electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electronic security systems across multiple projects.
- Lead small teams on service projects and perform daily safety talks.
- Program head end equipment for Access Control, IDS, and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshoot systems and hardware at local and global levels.
