Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, utility infrastructure, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support compliance with site-specific rules and reporting requirements while maintaining professional communication with operations personnel and emergency responders.
