Job summary

Allied Universal in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol Incident Assessment. The role involves vehicle and foot patrols, access control, and incident response at a chemical/petrochemical site, delivering professional customer service with Allied Universal’s values-driven approach.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
The background check will be performed in accordance with laws.
A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site contacts and emergency personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access to restricted areas and document visitor activity and incidents in reports.
Follow site PPE and hazardous-material protocols and report spills or anomalies.
