Job summary

Allied Universal in Detroit, MI is hiring a Security Officer Driver Credentialing. This driving post requires a valid license and involves monitoring, patrols, access control, and responsive security procedures.

You will deliver customer service while following site protocols and collaborating with a team that emphasizes integrity and reliability. The schedule is full-time with varied daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security experience or a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other situations calmly and per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities and entry points.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials and documenting visitors and contractors.
• Observe hazards and report them to site leadership.
