Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Maintain clear written reports and activity logs for visitor access and incidents.
