Job summary

Agile Defense in Norfolk, VA seeks a Test Engineer to develop and maintain an enterprise test repository that supports multiple software baselines, operating systems, hardware platforms, and network architectures.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and hands-on experience with SDLC, testing strategies, defect tracking, and QA tooling (JIRA, TestRail). You will collaborate with engineering teams to ensure CI/CD readiness and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
• DoD Cyber workforce framework testing requirements (671 - Intermediate).
• Experience with SDLC, testing methodologies, and QA tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Active Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise test repository supporting multiple baselines, OS, hardware, and network architectures.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts for functional, regression, performance, integration, UAT, and operations testing.
• Analyze requirements and develop testing strategies, environments, and test data.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Participate in engineering reviews and QA recommendations.
• Maintain test documentation and support CI/CD integration; provide testing metrics and reports.
