Job summary

UNCOMN in Virginia Beach area seeks a Mid Test Engineer to design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans across enterprise environments. You will collaborate with developers to build and maintain automated tests using Selenium/JUnit and contribute to test repositories.

The role requires 4+ years of testing experience, DoD clearance eligibility, and a Bachelor’s or higher in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Data Science, or SWE, plus familiarity with DCWF guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of related software, systems, infrastructure, or enterprise testing experience.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, US citizenship required.
• Experience developing, organizing, and maintaining enterprise test repositories and assets.
• Experience testing across multiple software baselines, OS versions, hardware, and networks.
• Knowledge of SDLC, testing methodologies, QA practices, and defect-management processes.
• Familiarity with manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, JIRA, TestRail.
• DCWF Testing and Evaluation Specialist (671 - Intermediate) requirements or equivalent certifications; Bachelor’s or certifications listed.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test plans and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Develop and maintain enterprise test repositories across baselines and platforms.
• Create reusable test assets for Windows, AD, security baselines, and network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance automated tests using Selenium/JUnit.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA/TestRail and related tools.
• Verify fixes via retesting and regression testing; report quality metrics to leadership.
