Job summary

vCluster Labs is seeking an Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security) to build secure infrastructure software from the ground up, applying hands-on penetration testing and deep Kubernetes expertise to shape secure tooling and architectures.

You will own vulnerability response, threat modeling, and security reviews across the platform, guiding teams to make sound security decisions as the product scales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on penetration testing focusing on Kubernetes and container isolation.
• Experience with threat modeling and secure design reviews for production systems.
• Experience owning vulnerability response and patch releases.

Responsibilities

• Penetration testing of products and infrastructure for exploitable weaknesses.
• Own vulnerability response from triage to patched release.
• Threat modeling for new features and secure design reviews.
• Participate in code and design reviews with the engineering team.
• Promote secure defaults across the product.
