Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security into the software development lifecycle and support secure deployments in both classified and unclassified environments. The role emphasizes CI/CD design, containerization with Docker, and cloud infrastructure management.

The candidate will collaborate with software, security, and system teams to ensure secure, scalable, and rapid delivery of geospatial intelligence solutions on the Maru Program.

Qualifications

• US citizenship is required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with 4-8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Experience working in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using CDK.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Experience integrating CDK, GitLab, Docker, and ECS for deployments.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Knowledge of secure engineering practices and code scanning tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for microservices and container deployments.
• Support containerized environments using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure environments.
