Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer for the Maru Program within the Geospatial Analyst Solutions Directorate. The role focuses on secure CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and cloud infrastructure in both classified and unclassified environments.

You will collaborate with software engineers, security teams, and admins to ensure secure, scalable, and rapid system delivery for geospatial intelligence missions. Requires Top Secret/SCI with polygraph readiness.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required per contract.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering with 4–8 years experience; or Master's with 2–6 years.
• Hands-on CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
• Docker containerization and AWS CDK experience.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD and ECS.
• Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift and secure DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for microservices.
• Support containerized deployments with Docker and orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Provision, configure, and monitor AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Shift-Left security: integrate tools into development workflows (SCA/SAST/DAST).
• Hardening environments and secure cloud-native architectures.
• Troubleshoot builds, deployments, and system performance.
• Assist RMF/STIG compliance activities and documentation.
• Document configurations and contribute to DevSecOps process improvements.
