Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. is seeking a Dispatch Officer to join our San Diego team. This full-time role involves monitoring access, patrolling facilities and responding to incidents to protect people and property.

Responsibilities include operating CCTV, logs, alarms, and coordinating with supervisors and authorities. Requires high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and valid BSIS Guard Card where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be mentally alert, exercise good judgment and follow training.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English clearly.
• Able to understand and carry out written/oral directions.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard property against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Enforce rules, provide assistance and ensure safety of people on site.
• Greet visitors, direct them, escort guests and monitor parking lots.
• Assist in maintaining order and report violations to supervisors.
• Inspect displays, report damages and keep post area neat.
• Control access, monitor alarms/CCTV and maintain logs.
• Patrol grounds and secure doors, gates, and lights.
• Respond to emergencies and notify proper staff or authorities.
