Job summary

Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. in San Diego is seeking motivated Security Officers for a new contract. You will protect client facilities, perform interior and exterior patrols, log visitors, and enforce access control to maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Speak, read and write English.
• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Must hold valid licenses, permits and certifications required for security duties.
• California Guard Card required.
• Pass a background check.
• Pass a 5-panel drug test.
• Driver’s license/state ID.
• CPR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols inside and outside client facilities.
• Log visitors, vehicles and vendors.
• Enforce access control and maintain security of premises.
• Maintain security, logs and records.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate evacuations when needed.
• Operate communications devices and stay alert to suspicious activity.
