Job summary

Allied Universal, Eden Prairie, MN, is seeking a Security Dispatch Officer to safeguard clients in Healthcare and other industries. You will coordinate responses to security-related calls, monitor alarms, and support access control, delivering calm, service-focused support to patients, staff, and visitors.

The role requires at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background checks and drug screening are required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver’s license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors per site procedures.
• Receive and dispatch calls for service, alarms, access concerns, and incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor site systems (cameras, alarms) and maintain dispatch logs and incident records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate as needed per procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch calls for service, alarms, access concerns, and other security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communications systems, cameras, alarms, and other site systems; maintain accurate dispatch logs and incident records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare location and perimeter, as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
