Job summary

United Center is seeking a Security Dispatch Officer for the 3rd shift to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment on the campus. You will monitor CCTV, alarms, and dispatch communications while addressing guest concerns and documenting incidents.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, patrolling, providing excellent customer service, and staying knowledgeable about the facility. Candidates should have security-related experience, PERC and a valid driver’s license, plus

Qualifications

• Must be able to work well with large groups.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English.
• Basic knowledge of security programs.
• Must have weekend and holiday availability.
• Ability to solve problems, and handle situations with limited standardization.
• Previous security, military, and/or law enforcement experience
• High school graduate, GED, or technical school; or 3 to 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PERC Card certification and valid driver’s license.

Third Shift Security Dispatch Officer: 11:45PM-8AM

What You’ll Do:

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand or walk for most of the shift and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds, stoop, kneel, or reach.
• Requires color vision and the ability to focus.

The pay range for this role is $23.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include 401K retirement plan with company match, paid time off and commuter benefits.
