Job summary

Role requires multi-tasking in a fast-paced hospital setting, strong verbal skills, and the ability to liaise with hospital staff and public safety. Certification through IA HSS is required within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage radio and telephone communications and relay messages accurately.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and perform quality assurance.
• Must obtain IA HSS Basic Security Officer Certificate within 12 months of hire.
• Strong verbal communication and teamwork are essential.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate all aspects of the Security Control Center.
• Relays radio, telephone, pages, and alarms; monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Maintain logs and ensure QA standards.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and external public safety agencies as needed.
• Alert supervisor of equipment issues promptly.
