Job summary

Norton Healthcare is seeking a Security Dispatcher to coordinate hospital security responses and ensure swift, safe operations across facilities. You will help protect patients, staff, and visitors by directing security teams and monitoring alarms and radio communications.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive on-the-job training is provided; prior security, law enforcement, or military experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or related field is preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training is provided.
• Interest in patient care and community safety encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch facility security response teams to needs.
• Monitor radio and alarm transmissions and provide centralized security enforcement.
• Coordinate and monitor emergency dispatch and log events.
• Prepare follow-up incident reports and retrieve/analyze data.
• Manage alarm panel programming, maintenance and work orders.
