Job summary

American Heritage is seeking a Dispatch Operator in a full-time role in Munster, IN. You will maintain communication across video and computer systems, dispatch personnel efficiently, and support a safety-focused, service-oriented team.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in call center or dispatch, strong typing (35 WPM), solid computer skills, a valid driver’s license, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of call center or dispatch operator experience.
• Proficient computer skills and software knowledge.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain communication, video, and computer equipment.
• Coordinate information for pass-downs with Operations.
• Answer calls promptly and dispatch appropriately.
• Monitor alarm signals and deploy personnel as needed.
• Ensure all shifts are fully manned.
• Utilize effective communication in a collaborative environment.
