Job summary

Zoom is seeking a DevOps Engineer for its Security DevOps team to drive security-focused infrastructure and production systems. You will own projects end-to-end, from design through rollout, delivering measurable improvements to security posture, reliability, and scalability across platforms that protect Zoom and its customers.

This role requires hands-on expertise in DevOps, SRE practices, and security engineering, with experience in Kubernetes, Vault/PKI, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform/Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering.
• Experience in managing large-scale production environments using Kubernetes-based systems.
• Designing or operating security infrastructure (e.g., Vault, PKI systems, secrets delivery, identity systems, SDKs/APIs).
• Experience with at least one production language (Go, Python, Java).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ArgoCD).
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab Runners.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring in distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, OCI) and regulated cloud environments (e.g., GovCloud, FedRAMP).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver security-focused infrastructure projects from concept to production.
• Operate and enhance security-critical production services with emphasis on reliability and resilience.
• Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows to minimize risk and manual steps.
• Collaborate with security, platform, and engineering teams to implement secure system updates.
• Improve observability and use operational data to drive reliability and security advances.
