Job summary

Zoom is seeking a DevOps Engineer for the Security DevOps team to design and operate security-focused infrastructure powering critical production systems. You will own end-to-end projects from design to production rollout, emphasizing secure delivery, reliability, and scalable platforms.

You will work across security, platform, and engineering to implement vault-backed secrets, PKI, and secure deployment pipelines, while advancing observability and automation in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps or Platform/Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering.
• Experience managing large-scale production environments using Kubernetes-based systems.
• Designing or operating security infrastructure (Vault, PKI, secrets delivery, identity systems).
• Proficiency in at least one production language (Go, Python, Java).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ArgoCD).
• Ability to build/maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab Runners).
• Strong observability/monitoring in distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS and other cloud environments (OCI, GovCloud).
• Familiarity with regulated cloud environments (FedRAMP, IL5).

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering security-focused infrastructure projects from concept to production.
• Operating and improving security-critical production services for reliability and security.
• Automating infrastructure and deployment workflows to reduce risk and manual work.
• Collaborating with security, platform, and engineering teams on secure system updates.
• Enhancing observability and using telemetry to drive reliability and security improvements.
