Job summary

HDR Building Engineering Services Group in Virginia Beach seeks a Security Designer I to design and implement security systems for critical infrastructure, including data centers and commercial environments. You will evaluate technologies and prepare design documents to support project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience.

• Evaluate and apply state-of-the-art security systems, techniques, procedures, designs and modifications
• Design security systems involving PLC's, CCTV's and card access equipment
• Assist in preparation of construction documents
• Perform other duties as needed
