Job summary

HDR is seeking a Security Designer I to evaluate and apply advanced security systems, designs, and modifications. You will design security systems involving PLCs, CCTV, and card access equipment, and assist in preparing construction documents for assigned projects.

Primary location is Glen Allen, VA with other VA/MD sites; full-time; HDR offers a broad benefits package and an employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a combination of education and relevant experience.

• Evaluate and apply state-of-the-art security systems, techniques, procedures, designs and modifications.
• Design security systems involving PLCs, CCTV and card access equipment.

Compensation

Expected compensation range: Fulton, MD: $63,756 - $91,080; Arlington, VA: $69,552 - $99,360; Glen Allen, VA: $57,960 - $82,800; Vienna, VA: $69,552 - $99,360; Virginia Beach, VA: $57,960 - $82,800.

Locations

Primary: Glen Allen, VA. Other: Vienna, VA; Arlington, VA; Virginia Beach, VA; Fulton, MD.

Schedule

Full‑time.
