Securitas USA is seeking Data Entry & Transportation Security Officers in Dekalb, IL. The role involves data entry, access control, and patrolling to maintain a safe environment for client sites. Excellent customer service and calm demeanor are essential.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. Pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Above average computer/technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in pre-employment screening including drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate when needed.
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to client staff and guests.
• Utilize technology devices during shifts.
• Data entry – log truck information into the system.
• Carry out other tasks as required for the site.
