Job summary

SpyCloud is seeking a Security Data Analyst / Python Developer to transform complex datasets, automate parsing, and monitor data ingestion. The role blends cybersecurity context with data engineering using Python and AWS stack.

Hybrid work allows 2 days in Austin with occasional US-wide remote options and quarterly HQ visits. Applicants should have 5-7 years of Python experience, data cleaning/automation skills, and a strong CS foundation.

Qualifications

• Must have strong data cleaning and transformation experience.
• Proficient Python development skills and automation work.
• Familiar with Linux shell scripting and regex benefits.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases and AWS basics.

Responsibilities

• Parse, clean, and transform datasets to SpyCloud schema.
• Build Python-based automation for the parsing platform.
• Bring order to dirty/unstructured data.
• Monitor ingestion processes and alert on issues.
• Collaborate to design/build data systems.
• Analyze data related to marketing blog consumption.
• Develop CI/CD processes to manage codebase.
• Leverage AI to automate parsing of dirty datasets.
