Job summary

SpyCloud in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Data Analyst/Python Developer to parse, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data into the SpyCloud schema. You will build Python-based automation and monitor ingestion in a hybrid environment.

Qualified candidates have 5–7 years in Python development, data cleaning and automation, Linux scripting, and AWS experience. This role supports remote US work with occasional travel to headquarters.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of professional experience as a Python developer.
• Love of working with data; familiar with cleaning/transforming data.
• Experience building data solutions and automation tools using Python.
• Proficient in Linux bash/ksh scripting and Regular Expressions.

Responsibilities

• Parse, clean, and transform structured and unstructured datasets to the spycloud schema.
• Build Python-based automation for the parsing platform.
• Bring order to dirty and/or unstructured data.
• Monitor the ingestion process for issues.
• Collaborate with the team to design and build innovative data systems.
• Analyze data based on the consumption of blogs for the marketing team.
• Develop processes, standards and CI/CD pipelines to manage our codebase.
• Leverage AI to help automate parsing dirty datasets
