Job summary

Noblis is seeking a technically skilled professional to support the FAA Telecommunications and Integrated Services environment. The role centers on analyzing large datasets, automating data collection, validating data integrity, and delivering actionable security insights.

You will work with cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure teams to translate complex data into clear recommendations, supporting compliance and risk management efforts at a federal level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Telecommunications, Data Analytics, CS or a related technical field.
• 0–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, security operations, or related IT disciplines.
• Strong data analysis skills for large datasets accuracy and security relevance.
• Experience automating data collection, validation, transformation, and reporting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, Power Query, data validation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of network security data, firewall rules, configurations, vulnerability data, and asset inventories.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Familiarity with NIST RMF, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53 Rev.5; ability to identify data discrepancies and security risks.
• Strong written and verbal communication for presenting findings to diverse audiences.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card with residency; ability to obtain FAA Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of network, security, and operational data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automated processes to collect, transform, validate, and report security data.
• Utilize advanced Excel for analysis and reporting needs, including data modeling.
• Perform data integrity assessments of network and security datasets.
• Reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure reliability.
• Analyze and validate network security configurations, firewall rules, VPN configurations, and asset inventories.
• Support cybersecurity teams with validating control data and vulnerability information.
• Create dashboards and reports offering insight into security posture and compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality and automation to boost efficiency.
• Assist with technology modernization, network transitions, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, network, and program teams; communicate findings clearly.
