Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as cybersecurity, IT, telecommunications, data analytics, or CS.
• 0–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or security data analysis.
• Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivots, formulas, lookups, Power Query, data modeling.
• Ability to analyze network security data and validate configurations and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of network, security, and operational data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automated processes for data collection and reporting.
• Use Excel features to support analysis and reporting requirements.
• Perform data integrity assessments across systems and sources.
• Reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure reliability.
• Analyze and validate firewall rules, routing information, VPN configurations, and assets.
• Support cybersecurity teams with validation of control data and inventories.
• Create dashboards and metrics to illustrate security posture and compliance.
• Identify data quality improvements through automation and process changes.
• Align data reporting with federal cybersecurity standards and risk management.
