The role requires 3+ years of security-related experience or a college degree, plus a valid driver's license and compliance with background checks and drug screening.

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor access per site policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, calls for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and visitor documentation.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly environment by communicating professionally with diverse community members and following post orders and protocols.
