Job summary

Customized Guard Services seeks a Lobby Ambassador to welcome tenants, guests, and visitors, delivering friendly, professional service while upholding building security at a high-rise in Los Angeles.

You will assist with directions and information, monitor access, coordinate with security, and ensure the lobby remains clean and safe throughout your shift.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and Assistance: Warmly greet tenants, guests, and visitors upon arrival; provide directions, information, and assistance regarding building amenities, services, and surrounding areas; address inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access to the building; verify identification and issue visitor passes as necessary; maintain a visitor log and manage guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Security and Safety: Conduct surveillance of the lobby and report suspicious activities or security breaches; collaborate with security personnel to ensure safety of occupants; respond to emergencies and assist as needed.
• Communication: Serve as a liaison between management, security, and tenants; communicate effectively with team members and departments; relay important information or updates to tenants and guests.
• Lobby Maintenance: Ensure the lobby is clean and well-maintained; coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff; report maintenance needs or safety hazards.

The Lobby Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for tenants, guests, and visitors entering the commercial high-rise building. This role involves providing a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring the security and safety of the premises, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting and Assistance:

• Warmly greet tenants, guests, and visitors upon arrival.

• Address and resolve inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.

Access Control:

• Monitor and control access to the building, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter.
• Verify identification and issue visitor passes as necessary.
• Maintain a visitor log and manage guest check-ins and check-outs.

Security and Safety:

• Conduct regular surveillance of the lobby area and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
• Collaborate with security personnel to ensure the safety of the building and its occupants.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or evacuations, and assist as needed.

Communication:

• Serve as a liaison between building management, security, and tenants.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Relay important information or updates to tenants and guests as required.

Lobby Maintenance:

• Ensure the lobby area is clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
• Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to address any issues or concerns.
• Report any maintenance needs or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
