Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Credential Desk Operations in Fremont, CA. You will monitor areas, support badge processes, and deliver exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

As a full-time role, expect to work days and overnights with site-specific policies and incident response. You will help maintain a welcoming environment while adhering to safety and security protocols.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles; driving roles require license.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive manufacturing, production, warehouse, and perimeter areas to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
