Security Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Assist Supervisors in managing daily operations of the department.
- Manage department reporting, coordinate general operations and special events, respond to incidents, assist in managing logistics, and train and develop patrol officers.
- Manage reporting: assist with incident reports, ensure student supervisor reports are correctly written and compliant with standards, ensure follow‑through on reports submitted to the Security Department, and collect and store all incident media on the network.
- Coordinate daily shifts and special events: help coordinate with other departments to provide security services, prepare shifts for special duties such as gate/building opening and closing, sign and cone setup, and assist in managing student workers through quality assurance of security services.
- Manage logistics: assist in managing the 24‑hour dispatch center, handle paperwork, phone and event logs, maintenance work orders entered by Security, and daily schedules ranging from building and gate openings to special events.
- Coordinate patrol officers: coordinate shift details and patrol officers in the field, respond to medical emergencies, perform safety inspections around campus, assist with training student workers, evaluate them, and develop them into better employees.
Education
- College Degree (preferred).
Experience
- 1+ years in management (preferred 2+ years).
FLSA Status

- Analytical Thinking, Communication, Detail‑Oriented.
- Emergency Response Operations, Interpersonal Relationships, Must be able to hear and see clearly, Organizing, Public Relations (PR), Situation Management, Time Management.
