Cymertek Corporation is seeking a meticulous Security Control Assessor (SCA) to join our Honolulu team. You will assess security controls across information systems, conduct testing, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen security postures while ensuring compliance with NIST and FISMA frameworks.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree and TS/SCI Full Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience per contracts.
• Citizenship and TS/SCI Full Poly clearance required.
• Experience assessing security controls across information systems.
• Ability to produce detailed remediation reports.
• Strong knowledge of NIST, FISMA, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of security controls in information systems.
• Conduct security control testing and evaluations.
• Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities in systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and implement security controls.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
• Provide detailed reports with findings and recommendations for remediation.
