Job summary

Cymertek Corporation in Honolulu, HI seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to maintain the security posture of our information systems, oversee risk assessments, and ensure compliance with NIST RMF and related policies. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree and a TS/SCI Full Poly clearance, and is proficient with security tools such as SIEM and vulnerability scanners.

You will work with cross-functional teams to address incidents, manage vulnerabilities, and document security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or related field.
• Experience with NIST RMF or ISO 27001 and security policy compliance.
• Strong documentation and reporting abilities for security programs.
• Incident response experience and risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system security plans (SSPs)
• Perform regular risk assessments and audits
• Monitor compliance with security policies and procedures
• Oversee system vulnerability management and remediation efforts
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, RMF)
• Collaborate with teams to address security incidents and findings
