LRQA in New York seeks a Security Consultant specialized in Penetration Testing to lead engagements from kickoff through testing, reporting and debriefs. You will develop client relationships and mentor Associate Security Consultants while applying comprehensive testing techniques.

You will work on web applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS), delivering high-quality reports and contributing to continuous security improvements across client environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of IT security industry experience within the past 2 years
• Experience across web app, infrastructure and cloud engagements
• CREST CRT, OSCP or equivalent certification
• Strong written and spoken English skills

Responsabilités

Role Purpose:

Deliver security engagements with a primary focus on Penetration Testing. Manage security engagements from kick-off through testing, reporting and debriefs, while supporting clients, mentoring Associate Security Consultants, and contributing technical expertise across security testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Penetration Testing and related security activities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of Penetration Testing engagements, from kick-off calls to testing, reporting and debriefs.
• Produce high-quality and thorough reports that demonstrate continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain professional, consultative client relationships.
• Mentor Associate Security Consultants as needed.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects as assigned.
• Provide technical analysis of current IT security events, particularly for media coverage when requested.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong technical skills in IT security with experience in Penetration Testing.
• Experience in web application, infrastructure and cloud engagements (Azure or AWS).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
• CREST CRT, OSCP, or equivalent IT security certification.
• At least 12 months of relevant IT security industry experience within the past 2 years.
• Experience with container security is desirable.
