Job summary

LRQA in New York seeks a Security Consultant specialized in Penetration Testing to lead engagements from kickoff through testing, reporting and debriefs. You will develop client relationships and mentor Associate Security Consultants while applying comprehensive testing techniques.

You will work on web applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments (Azure or AWS), delivering high-quality reports and contributing to continuous security improvements across client environments.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of IT security industry experience within the past 2 years
• Experience across web app, infrastructure and cloud engagements
• CREST CRT, OSCP or equivalent certification
• Strong written and spoken English skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct Penetration Testing and related security activities.
• Manage full lifecycle of Penetration Testing engagements from kickoff to testing, reporting and debriefs.
• Produce high-quality, thorough reports demonstrating continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain professional client relationships.
• Mentor Associate Security Consultants as needed.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects as assigned.
• Provide technical analysis of current IT security events, including media commentary when requested.
