Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Security Manager (TX DIR) to provide security leadership across the contract. The role involves policy development, incident management, vulnerability oversight, and compliance with TX-RAMP Level 2, TAC 202, CJIS, and IRS 1075.

The ideal candidate will lead security governance within a complex government IT environment, coordinate SOC 2 Type 2 audits, and report threats to DIR while coordinating with the Technical Director.

Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for security policy, procedures, planning, evaluation, and technology.
• Track, remediate, and report on threats and trends to DIR.
• Work with the Technical Director and DIR to address threats.
• Provide compliance oversight for TX-RAMP Level 2, TAC 202, CJIS, IRS 1075, MARS-E.
• Coordinate the annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit and corrective actions.
• Manage SOC 2 Type 2 corrective action plans.
• Track, report, and remediate security incidents per TAC 202.
• Develop the annual security plan and integrate with GRC.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning and quarterly baselines.
• Provide governance across a multi-vendor government IT environment.
