Job summary

Oracle Government, Defense & Intelligence team offers the OVIP internship for US veterans and military spouses, providing hands-on training in federal compliance and information security practices.

The paid internship runs 40 hours per week at $30 per hour, with potential for exposure to security controls, risk management, and policy documentation within a dynamic government-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work with cybersecurity and information security programs.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53/800-171, CMMC, and DFARS preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers, and end-users.
• US Citizens with ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.
• Understanding of security systems such as firewalls, IDS, anti-virus software, authentication systems, and log management.

Responsibilities

• Support federal compliance initiatives.
• Assist in design and development of processes and documentation for CMMC and related efforts.
• Maintain business relationships with stakeholders on information security requirements.
• Support related GDI Performance Management initiatives in ad-hoc capacity.
