Job summary

Oracle's Veteran Internship Program welcomes transitioning veterans and Military Spouses. The program offers hands-on training across IT, security, and business operations, with mentors and leadership coaching to help transition to civilian roles.

It is a paid internship designed to develop technical and professional skills in a corporate setting and to prepare for future opportunities within Oracle and federal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with Cybersecurity and Information Security.
• Understanding of NIST SP 800-53, 800-171, CMMC, DFARS desired but not required.
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Fundamental understanding of security systems (firewalls, IDS, AV, auth, log mgmt).
• Ability to communicate security issues to peers, management, customers, and end-users.
• US Citizens with ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

Responsibilities

• Support federal compliance initiatives.
• Support design and development of process and documentation in support of CMMC and related efforts.
• Maintain business relationships with interested parties on information security requirements.
• Support additional/related GDI Performance Management initiatives in ad-hoc capacity.
• Collaboration with other Oracle One Federal teams.
