Job summary

Second Front Systems seeks a Head of Security Compliance & Authorization to own the security programs protecting the Game Warden platform. You will lead the Security Authorization team, set strategy, and ensure evidence and authorization readiness across DoD RMF, FedRAMP, and SOC 2 environments.

The role requires strong leadership, cloud security expertise, and a proven track record navigating government compliance. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role within the DC/MD/VA hiring hub.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cybersecurity with product security, cloud security, or gov authorization programs.
• 5+ years leading cybersecurity teams and building scalable programs.
• Experience owning security programs for a cloud/SaaS platform or similar complex tech org.
• CISSP or equivalent; DoD 8140 qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Authorization and Compliance team.
• Define security strategy for Game Warden aligned with objectives and roadmap.
• Establish ownership and processes for security authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Build a roadmap identifying gaps, investments, staffing, dependencies, outcomes.
• Ensure packages, control implementations, evidence, and POA&Ms are current and defensible.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Product, and Security Ops to integrate security requirements into planning and releases.
