Job summary

Second Front Systems is seeking a Head of Security Compliance & Authorization to lead the company’s security programs for the Game Warden platform. You will own compliance programs (SOC 2, ISO, CMMC) and security authorizations across national security environments, building durable programs and high-performing teams.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, and leadership to embed security throughout the product lifecycle, including secure architecture and continuous monitoring.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity roles including product security, cloud, or government authorization.
• 5+ years leading cybersecurity professionals and building teams.
• Experience owning security programs for cloud platforms or SaaS.
• Experience integrating security into product development and engineering workflows.
• Strong knowledge of application security, cloud security, vulnerability management, and software supply chain risk.
• Practical understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, IAM, logging.
• Experience establishing governance for SAST, DAST, software composition analysis, secrets detection, container scanning, and pentesting.
• Direct experience with government security authorization programs (NIST SP 800-53/37, DoD RMF, FedRAMP).
• Experience with eMASS, DISA PPSM, DISA STIGs, SCAP tools.
• Strong communication and risk reporting with leadership.
• Ability to build repeatable processes and operating structures in a fast-moving environment.
• CISSP or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Security Authorization and Compliance team.
• Define security strategy for Game Warden aligned with objectives and roadmap.
• Define ownership and processes for authorization and continuous monitoring.
• Build a security roadmap with investments, staffing, and dependencies.
• Provide oversight for authorization packages supporting DoD and federal environments.
• Ensure evidence, control implementations, and monitoring remain accurate and defensible.
• Manage eMASS, DISA PPSM, and authorization documentation.
• Direct readiness for security assessments, audits, and authorization decisions.
• Own the corporate audit calendar.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to integrate security into planning and releases.
