Job summary

RTX is seeking a Security Specialist in San Jose, CA to implement and ensure ICD/DoD directives compliance for intelligence programs. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a polygraph.

Onsite work with cross-functional teams to maintain SAPFs/SCIFs and support government inspections. You will manage security plans, education programs, training, and administrative tasks, travel up to 10% and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to sustain

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience executing security processes in special program access and collateral environments.
• Industrial security experience preferably in a Facility Security Officer (FSO) / Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) role.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top-Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a polygraph after start.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Understand and ensure compliance with ICDs, the DoD Manual 5205.07, NISPOM and related directives.
• Develop security plans and CONOPs; administer OPSEC and security education programs.
• Conduct self-inspections and drive corrective actions; participate in peer reviews.
• Support inspections and implement corrective actions; coordinate with sites.
• Manage program administration: personnel processing, visitor control, investigations, TS accountability, document handling.
